Nestled in the community of Teresin, this Franciscan Monastery was founded by the beloved martyr, St. Maximilian Kolbe. Known for his profound faith and sacrifice, St. Maximilian was arrested by the Nazis and ultimately gave his life at Auschwitz, choosing to die in place of another prisoner. His legacy of love and selflessness continues to inspire countless souls.
After your visit to this sacred site, we will journey to the village of Świnice Warckie, where we will have the opportunity to visit the historic Church of St. Casimir. This cherished parish holds deep significance as the baptismal place of St. Faustina, known as Helena Kowalska. It was here that young Helena received her first confession and First Holy Communion, surrounded by her family who also attended Sunday Mass and other services in this humble yet beautiful church.

At Heroes’ Square, we honor the legacy of the Magyar tribes, whose courage and vision forged a nation. We continue to the Church of St. Stephen, where the spirit of the first king of Hungary is felt in the very air we breathe. Here, we can pause for a moment of reflection, honoring the sacredness of our own paths. The Fisherman’s Bastion, with its seven towers, stands as a tribute to the seven tribes that settled in the Carpathian Basin in 895. As we climb to the top, we are rewarded with breathtaking vistas over the city and the flowing Danube, a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us and the connections we share.
As the day draws to a close, we return to our hotel to unwind and reflect on the experiences we've shared. We gather for a farewell dinner, celebrating the bonds we've formed and the memories we've created together. This final evening in Europe invites us to express our gratitude for the journey, for the moments of connection, and for the spiritual growth we have experienced.
